True, Jim! This sin of passion not only destroys the family or families but also corrupts the soul of both individuals. JESUS said in Matthew 5:27-28, “everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (ESV)
Thanks, Kent. Self-righteous works-religionists protest they have never committed physical adultery, but Jesus taught in Matthew 5 that adultery is rooted in our hearts. We live in the midst of consumer culture which uses sexual attraction as a primary marketing tool.
Your out of the box and in depth comments, truly amazes me, Tom! I’m not so sure if there is someone who has not sin/committed adultery ever in ones thoughts. We repent. GOD’s grace abounds. That is why we rely on GOD’s grace alone, in faith alone, in JESUS alone.
Hahaha. Yes, I agree with you, Crissy! No population curbing program that any nation state or international organization has developed can ever beat its effectiveness. But seriously, that is how many people have sinned. Grace abounds and GOD’s dicipline also to those whom He loves.
Oo naman, Ed! Totoo, masama talaga and panganglunya. Rare para sa akin manuod ng Tagalog movie, as in, once in every 2 years; alam mo na, Hollywood mentality.
We have to recharge the whole day sometimes, Jim, especially if we have less than 8 hours of recharging a night. I noticed, I thought you were skiping it today. Thank you for the link. I will read on your past article series on Romans 5:3-5. Good night for now. I have to recharge for at least 8 hours for immunity sake.
What a reminder that the sin of adultery is very serious

Indeed. May the Lord use this to convict and to show people’s need for Christ

GOD willing, Jim! In GOD’s sovereign will; we can only pray, He will do the rest if He wills it.

If that law was applied today I imagine the world population would decrease rapidly.

You should do it more often in a week, Jim, aside from Vitamins B, C, and D, it is our shield from covid19.

Thanks for the suggestion about the vitamins!

You are welcome, Jim! Just don’t take B and C simultaneously.

True, Bigsky Buckeye, a sin it is; a deviation to GOD’s command. This sin also destroys both the family and the souls of both adulterers.
