Yes, Jim, biblical characters like King Saul, has in mind when it comes to this verse. True, when experiencing downfall even because of ones sin, sometimes, GOD is the recipient of ones anger, blame, or blasphemous words.
True, Jim! Preponderance of sin. This reminded me of Matthew 11:29-30, where JESUS said, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (ESV)
A verse that haven’t stood out to me before. Very true though

He should have asked forgiveness to GOD than being prideful to the very end.

You are welcome, Crissy! It is an obscure verse. Chapter 19 of Proverbs is a concoction of wise words in different topics. Good night!

We do as a general rule like to blame God when things go wrong. I must say we also like to take credit when they go right.

You are right, Donna! This is also relevent to Romans 3:11 (July 2, 2020 post) i.e. we don’t really seek for GOD.
