True, Jim, the Triune GOD is so merciful to us, His sinful enemies and His elect that He acted on our salvation. JESUS, while in human form, saw the weaknesses and sins of humans, felt pity, suffered in the cross, and bore all our sins; so we can be pure with GOD’s righteousness in us and have a right relationship with GOD the FATHER in heaven. Because we are saved and the HOLY SPIRIT is working in us, we now know JESUS–the Good Shepherd, as our Lord and Savior. Indeed, JESUS is a wonderful merciful Savior who died for us so He won’t condemn us to hell in the judgement seat.
We are truly and humbly grateful that GOD is our GOD and He calls us as His own. With that, we know Him by what He revealed to us in the Bible and there is this hunger to know Him. GOD Bless you and your family!

Oh wonderful! Edinburgh is one of my favourite cities. I was born in England, but the family went to Scotland when I was 2 years old because my mum, who was from Glasgow, was homesick, so I have a broad Glaswegian accent even though I returned to England in 1979. Edinburgh is a fantastic city, so much history and gorgeous architecture. When the train stopped at Durham, you would have caught sight of our beautiful cathedral.
Yes, Lesley, there were many good attractions in Edinburgh especially along the Royal Mile. Like Glasgow, I saw statues of scientist, economist, and other great thinkers found in college books, in Edinburgh. It was relaxing to look at the city from the perspective of Edinburgh Castle. I agree with you, there is so much history in Edinburgh as seen in the Castle’s history exhibits, and there are architectural designs that I have not seen before. Of course, who would forget the Whiskey Museum. Strolling in Glasgow was also cool for me. I used the pictures taken from both cities in the blog, mostly in November and December 2019. Actually most of the personal pictures I uploaded where from England and Scotland. I presumed that accent is the same as that of the lead character in Netflix’ the Bodyguard series. I have not noticed the Cathedral, I’m checking on my files now.

What security, what comfort, to be in the arms of our Shepherd! To think that the Almighty Triune God cares for individual sheep who have gone astray, it truly is beyond my comprehension.
True, Alan! The Triune GOD does keep us, ensures our salvation, and nothing can separate us from Him. That is how immence GOD’s grace, mercy and justice, comparing to the way we do it. All of these in the end is for GOD’s glory alone. And that we worship Him and see the vastness of His attributes. Blessings to you and your family!
