  1. Indeed, to set the mind on the spirit is the only key to lasting peace within and without. It is just not possible to achieve a state of inner peace from a position of always chasing material things and it is not possible to have great relationships with others from a position of materiality

    1. My apologies, Ed, for the late response. The documentary, American Gospel: Christ Crucified was almost a 3 hour film. I recommend you watch it. True, Ed, there is no inner peace in pursuing a materialistic life. We should set our minds on the spirit where we know GOD more, His plan, and His will for us. Example, when we focus on the things of the flesh, our ife is centered on us. But if we focus on the things of the Spirit, it is centered to GOD, seeing things that happened in our world according to His glory alone. Romans 8:29-39 is a great answer to your previous comment. GOD bless you and your family!

    1. True, Jim, a lot can be pondered, accepted by faith, and applied in our life in Romans 8. These includes salient doctrines as election, justification, sanctification, and glorification. Such a wonderful Chapter it is. This is just one of its stronger set of verses that reveals to us to set our minds to the Spirit and not on our self centered life (of the flesh). GOD should be the center of our life in His glory alone. You should watch the American Gospel: Christ Crucified.
