    1. What a coincidence, Lisa! We cling to the promises of JESUS that when we abide in Him and we received His Word, He will abide in us and through His Word that we reflect on, our minds are renewed and there is a change in our behavior as we are being sanctified in CHRIST. I guess that song is Abide in Me, is it not? It is a wonderful song of surrendering to JESUS–our GOD and Savior.

    1. This is a verse (i.e. verse 5) with a great truth, Mandy! It is a powerful resonating message of JESUS for us who believed that apart from Him, we can do nothing. Apart from Him, there is no salvation, let alone sanctification process. This verse is really worth noting! GOD bless you and your family!

  1. It is actually this song, and it was sung in my church often growing up
I am the Vine, you are the branches
He who abides in Me and I in him
He it is that bears much fruit
For apart from Me you can do nothing (repeat)

If you abide in Me and My words abide in you
Ask what you will and it shall be given to you

I am the Vine, you are the branches
He who abides in Me and I in him
He it is that bears much fruit
For apart from Me you can do nothing

He it is that bears much fruit
For apart from Me you can do nothing

        1. The successful it is, Crissy, in the eyes of GOD (according to His divine plan) the harder the darkside works in its little time to sway you and your team. Be bold in CHRIST! Praying still for your ministry my friend!

        2. Crissy, thank you for persevering in a storm like that even if it is just one person, it is still is serious headache. We will always remember that GOD will smile when we overcome such obstacles. A blessed Sunday!

    1. My apologies, Jim, I can’t recall. Now, I know. Thank you. John 15 has many revelations from CHRIST on His love for us even if we are sinners, His friends, in the sanctification process, ading in Him and His Word, and even if the world hates us. Also, we have another glimpse of the HOLY TRINITY. These are strong verses and truths.

        1. Oh, that’s alright, Gersom. It hadn’t occurred to me that there was no reply. I’ve done that loads of times.
Hope your day is going well and more! 😀

        2. It’s been raining here and the sun is putting in an appearance but it’s still cold. It’ll be a brisk walk for me and the dogs! 🙂

        3. It’s one of the highlights of my day, Gersom. We go off over the fields – the dogs enjoy running through the long grasses and I have an amazing time spotting wild birds and other wildlife. I have two dogs – a Parsons Jack Russell Terrier and a Miniature Poodle cross Welsh Terrier (Tilly and Bella).

        4. What a communed with GOD’s creation, Lesley! Watching the dogs running in an open field is quite relaxing and fun. What is lacking is a frisbee for Tilly and Bella. I like watching birds but most birds I’ve seen are not considered wild. One of them tweet a lot while befor the rain started. I pray that the next generations can still enjoy that scenic discription of yours.

        5. Lesley, it is like the movies for me. I have not physically seen both dog and squirrel interacting but I think I will be amazed. 😲The only time I saw a squirrel was in Thailand in front of the Palace. 🙂

    1. Amen, ma’am Bonnie! JESUS said that apart from Him, we can do nothing. With that, we abide in the SON of GOD as He abides in us. Apart from JESUS there is no salvation. We thank GOD for revealing Himself to us that we have faith in Him.

    1. You are right! Without our GOD actively working in us, who redeemed us by His blood on the cross, we are lost. Were it not for His grace, redemption, and guidance, we are nothing but a wandering trash in the middle of the ocean, waiting to be tossed by the waves to whatever direction.
