Good morning Mandy! Amen! Praising the SON of GOD, JESUS CHRIST that we can now change the worldly tiresome burdens with His path/way/yoke when we come to Him. We lift up our hands to Him in surrender and He will lead us to the right path. Indeed, JESUS’ commands and way is easy and the burdens to us is lighter compared to the world’s, if we truly surrender to His Lordship in faith and trust. Such peace when we have His yoke than that of the world’s expectations. GOD bless you and your entire family!
Only Jesus could say such a thing and make sense, Hallelujah! If your neighbour said “I see your overloaded, here carry this too!” you would tell them to take a hike. Yet here our Lord lightens our worldly load if we accept Him; and it works! He lightens iur burdens of pain and anxiety daily praise His Name.
You are right, Alan, only JESUS can say it with sense! We will be slighted with the lack of empathy on the remarks of our neighbor who we perceived as joking badly and insensitive, but not by JESUS. Only the SON of GOD has the best, true, and infinite alternative to the world’s burdens. No other can also give peace of heart and mind like JESUS while we still carry our worldly obligations. His path/yoke or the cross He wants us to carry, is easier with the right heart of surrender to Him. GOD bless you and your family!
True, Crissy, and it reminded me of your post. We go to JESUS–the SON of GOD, as the only one who can relieved us from all our burdens and weariness in this world. His way/yoke will give as salvation and peace of heart and mind now and forever. GOD bless you your family, and ministry team!
Good morning! I agree with you Lesley that what JESUS offers is all that we truly need. The gift of salvation is so important, His blessings is sustaining, and carrying our cross by following Him gives us peace of mind/heart, and life everlasting. True, we willfully and humbly accept His grace, Lordship in our lives, and His promises by faith. GOD’s yoke indeed is light! GOD bless you and your family!
Thanking GOD for the day of updating site pages, Lesley! I’ve manage to finish the SON of GOD pages and at the onset of GOD’s Grace series. A blessed week!
Working for the Lord is so satisfying! A blessed week to you too. It’s raining here today, but the dogs deserve an extra long walk. I do too! 😀 It’ll be over the fields, or through the woods, or along by the river . . . or maybe all three! 🙌
Good morning, Beck! This is a good reminder to surrender our worldly burdens to JESUS by following Him and His commands, knowing Him and His will, and seeking Him in our life. We will find peace here and eternity as our salvation is assured in Him. Indeed, His yoke is easy and His burden is light. GOD bless you and your family!
I love this passage so much! I think sanctification involves repentance and repentance from sins involves an element of surrendering to Him and that means resting in Christ! What words of Comfort from Jesus! I also think meditating upon this verse will sanctify us!
You are absolutely right, Jim! Repentance is also a key to sanctification as we regularly sin also in this long process. True, we surrender to JESUS with an assured and calmed heart and mind. This is because we know that we are in good hands in our Lord and Savior, who is gracious, loves, forgives, and molds us further until His work is complete and we are transformed and singing worship songs to the Triune GOD in heaven. All of these for His glory and never ours; we have glorified body instead. There is this Filipino song, popular in the 80s that extract lines in this set of verses. GOD bless you and your family!
GOD has a way to remind people that He is GOD and He does not tolerate the decline of morality. GOD is just when it comes to sins and sinners but He is also merciful and patient. This line makes me lobby on the series on GOD’s attributes, Jim.
Yes, Jim, it is still sunny and windy, makes it eerie that a Typhoon is approaching. Landfall is expected at 8PM tonight or 5AM PST. It will be strong in this area by 11PM to past midnight.
Praise Jesus!!!!

Really, that is good! Arguably, that is the most popular classic non-denominational worship song in the country followed by this one.

How we wish this volume of rain water will be diverted to the needed areas with the fire and dry grasses.

How true. I think God is telling my state of California to turn to Christ; we are a wicked state with much evil and sins.
