Amen! Good morning, Mandy! We boast not with others but with the Lord GOD who gives us everything we truly need, including our redemption and sanctification.
Praising GOD indeed, Crissy that we can boast to Him His faithfulness in us including His gift and work i.e. our salvation. Other than that, it is pride. Good morning when you see this.
Yes, Jim, in Christ is sanctification indeed, as we are molded in Him and walking in His way! This set of verses by James also shows the redemptive work of JESUS CHRIST that clothed us in His righteousness. His love for us is something we can boast to the Triune GOD. And if we boast His love for us to people, it is out of encouraging them to have a right relationship with GOD.
True, Jim! The more GOD reveals Himself to all of us through His Word, the more we realized about His grace and work in our salvation, the more we boast of Him on Him to His people.
Thank you very much, Jim for another behavior changing and GOD appreciating Biblical lecture. I enjoyed writing down and pondering later the main points, examples and applications. I will digest it further.
I’m encouraged to hear that. Now I’m editing my outline so I can post it on the blog. Encouraged to hear you take notes. I’m talking online with brother Christopher from the Bible Study tonight the one who now lives in Indonesia about Systematic Theology…
You are right about it Alan! Boasting in GOD, in His love, grace, blessings, and salvation, the only Godly and good in boasting. GOD bless you and your family!
Thank you for the advice, Jim! I really appreciate it. The more that I should focus streamlining the site now so if it gets discovered be one person that GOD calls then it is great. Eventually, I have to limit the blog time to just like this now, posting, when GOD wills I’ll be working again. It is ok if followers, likes, and visitors declined if not just one or two left. What is important is the site will be ready when GOD calls someone and lead that person to the site. I hope you will understand on this possible future.
AMEN and AMEN!!!

Boasting is only Godly when it is boasting in God alone!
