    1. Amen indeed, Mandy! This set of verses is filled with (and reminded us of) GOD promises. The Triune GOD is GOD and is just and merciful that by His grace, atonement for all our sins, and work in our sanctification, we (undeserving sinful people) are perfected as followers of JESUS. Here, the writer of Hebrews, inspired by GOD, reminded us of what GOD the FATHER and JESUS had said that 1) the HOLY SPIRIT will come and bares witness to us, 2) He will put the Laws on our hearts (having removed the heart of stone), and 3) remember our sins no more. Indeed, GOD is our GOD! Amen!

        1. You are right, Mandy, we need to be reminded of GOD’s promises in these times. We also need to cling on to it as a wonderful assurance to live by in faith and love to the Triune GOD. Talking about Mando, nice frog egg food and what a support from the x-wing pilots.

  1. Much needed passage! Some people think being a Christian means one no longer need to be godly; no instead God’s Word teaches that salvation means after we are saved we pursue sanctification and practical holiness! Which means obedience to God and the Law he’s put in us! Grateful that the basis for our sanctification is God’s regeneration in our hearts!

    1. You are right, Jim! Having the assurance of being saved does not mean we stop there. We also work in our sanctification to be like JESUS as GOD is working in our salvation. This is timely and also timely for tomorrow’s verse, I think. GOD bless you and your family!

  2. You are so right, Gersom. If motivation and ability was down to myself, I would have been lost such a long time ago. I thank Him for his ever unconditional strength-giving love!

    1. True, Lesley, out of our own, we simply can’t and won’t; and that is what Paul, who was inspired by GOD, wrote in his epistle to the Romans (Romans 7:18). Only GOD, out of His grace and for His glory, saved us or, like you said, we all have been lost a long time ago. You are right, we thank the Triune GOD for His unconditional strength-giving love. Only Him is worthy of praise and glory. GOD bless you and your family!

    1. True indeed, Alan! The Triune GOD is awesome, His grace is amazing, His love is unmeasurable, His will is precise, and His glory is majestic. The Just and Holy GOD, initiated and did it all for us so we can be His own children worshipping Him in heaven; all for His glory alone. We trust Him on His “handling” of us knowing we are in great hands. GOD bless you and your family!
