    1. You are absolutely right, Mandy, we must always meditate and keep in mind the supremacy of JESUS CHRIST in our life and the universe we are living. The whole universe is made for by JESUS, through JESUS, and for JESUS. We are made for JESUS CHRIST who is also GOD and we choose our Savior’s way for their is no other obvious way.

I sent the 3-page notes to your email on Jim’s lecture for today’s Bible Study. I like the word power because it really is. 😉

    1. True, Crissy, it is a reassuring verse for those who believe in JESUS CHRIST and walk by faith in His way. What a Divine coincidence and what this might mean to you and your ministry. Aside from JESUS CHRIST being the firstborn of all creation, as everything is made for by Him, through Him, and for Him, JESUS is also the first One to be resurrected; with Him in His Godly body (in the nexts verses of this subseries). We too will follow our Lord and Savoir and will be resurrected/transformed in our glorified body! How reassuring GOD’s Word is, indeed!

  1. This verse shows the prominent role of Jesus as the firstborn of creation: the first creature directly created by God
So God did not just sacrifice one of his angels, rather he sent the Firstborn of all creation, His most precious son

    1. You are right, Ed, GOD the FATHER did sacrifice His only SON, JESUS CHRIST who has preeminent role in everything in the whole universe as the firstborn. All of these was created for by JESUS, through JESUS, and for JESUS as GOD the SON whom GOD the FATHER loved very much. JESUS was the WORD in the beginning as GOD the SON that was with GOD the FATHER. Blessings to you, your family, and your ministry!

      1. So the Father is from time indefinite to time indefinite. The son had a beginning and he became the “master worker” described in Proverbs 8:30 and cooperated in creating everything else in the universe. What a privilege!

        1. What a privilege to know indeed! GOD is not controlled or bound by time as even time is under Him, as Omnipresent in His creation as well as His own realm we call heaven. All of these that we know, seen, and yet to be discovered in the succeeding generations on the universe we lived is for JESUS.

        2. Jesus does indeed have a great privilege to be the first among all creation and to have been directly created by the Father….who also resurrected him. He has a special role indeed among God’s creatures.

        3. JESUS indeed has a special role because He too is a GOD (John 1:1-2, Colossians 1:19-20), a Member of the Trinity, and Savior of all who believe in Him and just like the HOLY SPIRIT who is a GOD, a Member of the Holy Trinity, and who has special role too who convicts, guides and intercedes for us from becoming a Christian to Heaven.

    1. True, Jim, JESUS CHRIST so glorious! JESUS is SON of GOD, was and is GOD, and a Member of the Holy Trinity. He is the only way to GOD the FATHER and our Savior. We worship and are grateful Him who redeem us for by Him, through Him, and for Him, we are created. He was resurrected by GOD the FATHER sonwe may too be resurrected when GOD the SON comes and be transformed in our glorious body! What an assurance from GOD! Amen?

        1. True, Jim, one might think that they are a national from these countries but in fact they are Pinoys. But you know what, Filipinos have a way to know/detect other Filipinos/Pinoys in the way they look, including those they see in international TV.

    1. You are right, Dawn, this is a powerful verse as it points out to JESUS the SON of GOD. Everything in the Universe, including us, is made for by Him, through Him, and for Him. Through JESUS’ resurrection, we too will be resurrected or meet Him in the clouds someday when He comes again (2nd coming). GOD bless you and your family!
