True, Mandy! As Christians and taking lesson from the set of verses, may the focus of our glory is JESUS and not ourselves. See you at Jim’s Bible Study session. Blessings to you, Nathan, and your parents!
Amen! Totoo Ed!
True, Jim! The Moses of the Bible (not the Moses who is typing this) was raised up for the purpose of being a vessel of GOD to liberate the Israelites from the bandage of slavery. As John MacArthur pointed out in the ESV Study Bible “both Moses and the Pharoah were wicked sinners, even murderers, and were equally worthy of GOD’s wrath and eternal punishment. But Moses received mercy while Pharoah received GOD’s judgement, because that was GOD’s sovereign will” (ESV). It is all GOD’s sovereign will, plan, and purpose and we count it as a blessing if we are introduced with the Gospel of Salvation through JESUS CHRIST, and accept it humbly with gratitude. Blessings to you, Nancy, and the kids!
Wow never saw the parallel that MacArthur noted between Pharaoh and Moses: “ both Moses and the Pharoah were wicked sinners, even murderers, and were equally worthy of GOD’s wrath and eternal punishment. But Moses received mercy while Pharoah received GOD’s judgement, because that was GOD’s sovereign will”. Thanks for sharing that
Election is the start of God’s grace towards us! If one thinks election is God choosing us because WE CHOOSE Him, than it makes election and all of salvation based upon our works. Good point!
Amen! GOD chose us and if we are left on ourselves, we won’t choose to follow Him. So, for those who read this, when you have a hunger for knowing GOD that you don’t expect or know why, don’t take it for granted. Pray that the HOLY SPIRIT will guide you. It will be a great journey in JESUS CHRIST name.
Amen: “ So, for those who read this, when you have a hunger for knowing GOD that you don’t expect or know why, don’t take it for granted” it is the work of God
Amen! That is a work of GOD to the person experiencing it and not the person’s choosing of GOD. I just uploaded day two of the Museum. Good night, pastor!
To think about it, the phone camera was a late 2013 technology. When you visit UK, Jim, go to the Tower of London, and castles like Windsor, Warwick, Leeds, and Edinburgh as these are filled with artifacts too. Don’t go to the Science Museum (it was a huge mistake for me), just the neighboring Victoria and Albert . And don’t miss the Natural Museum. I’ll add those pics in the cloud soon.
May we exalt Christ and His Name and not ourselves!

Pansamantalang pinahihintulutan ng Diyos ang kasamaan para ipakita ang kanyang kapangyarigan
