    1. You are absolutely right, Dora! JESUS is our glorious Shepherd! In this verse, our GOD and Savior includes us Gentiles in the salvation plan. We are in one flock under His Lordship. As His flock, we read and read more on His Word, plant His commands and promises in our hearts, and make Him known. Blessings to you and your family!

    1. True, Crissy! The Triune GOD is indeed Sovereign in salvation! This verse, according to John MacArthur, refers to us Gentiles and adds us–who believe by faith on the Lordship of JESUS CHRIST as our Savior, in GOD’s Sovereign plan for the salvation of humankind. We received this grace of GOD by faith. Blessings to you and your outreach today!

        1. Indeed, GOD is amazing! He planned this ahead of creation. We are grateful that He revealed Himself to us through the awareness of His Word i.e. the Bible. Likewise my friend, GOD’s peace and blessings!

  4. The sheep hears HIs voice, showing that they belong to Jesus…and Jesus of course got the sheep from the Father, the Father gave them to the Son. Many verses you have shared on here on God’s election, thank you Kent

    1. You are right, Jim! GOD the FATHER chose people out of His mercy, love, and justice and His Sovereign choices are irrevocable. He gave His elect to JESUS who will also keep them in GOD the FATHER’s name. These elected people also hear and follow JESUS thus ensuring salvation for them. GOD will give justice to His elect speedily (Luke 18:7-8). We are grateful to the Triune GOD for this Truth! We are also grateful to GOD for His direction in what we do that we will be amazed later on, and we know without His guidance, it will be simply a maze if not a chaotic sequencing. A case in point is frontloading/putting front all that GOD-inspired Paul has said/written so we can have a background and understand further what JESUS had said. Tomorrow, we will just stack what the other Gospel writers said including Peter. And then conclude the election with two sets of verses written by Paul. After that, we conclude the series on GOD’s grace. Blessings to you and your family.

      1. Looking forward to tomorrow looking at the other Gospels’ statements confirming God’s election. Love this “ His Sovereign choices are irrevocable. He gave His elect to JESUS who will also keep them in GOD the FATHER’s name”. What comfort to know it’s irrevocable our salvation. Doctrines matter, sound doctrines matter!

        1. True, sound and truthful, doctrines matter as it coherently connects Biblical Truths and guides the faithful. Also, it makes us revere GOD more, giving reverence to Him who not only sustains but also saves us all for His glory.

    2. I can’t help but to think of Paul’s writings from the Father through the Son, the sheep are sealed with the Holy Spirit. Praise God that from election to salvation all God’s grace and work. Love and blessings to you both!

    1. Thank you for this insight, Alan! Yes, these folds or even groups of elected people that our Savior keeps will one day be united in the Lord as His one flock when He returns. This is true when all of us saved will meet in GOD’s Throne Room; and praise the Triune GOD forever. We are looking forward to JESUS CHRIST second coming! Blessings to you and your family!

    1. We are all guilty of bleating instead of listening Donna! Yet, despite our complaints and similar acts, we are amazed to see the Triune GOD’s patience, mercy, and even justice. This is manifested in our lives that we never lose our faith in Him no matter the changes in level/intensity/degree because JESUS keeps us always and this gift of GOD the FATHER is irrevocable.
