    1. True, Beverley! A powerful Word of GOD! By GOD the FATHER’s grace, our salvation is through JESUS CHRIST alone! There is no other way that we could be reconciled with GOD the FATHER but through GOD the SON JESUS CHRIST. JESUS cleansed our sins and imputed His righteousness on us so that we will not be condemned for eternity. Without CHRIST in our faith, accepting Him as Lord GOD and Savior of our life, we are not saved or even elected at all. Thus, this is a powerful Word indeed! Blessings to you and your family!

    1. Yes, Psalm 118 verse 22 has been cited by several Books of the Bible too, including three Gospels, an epistle, and a letter. That is how important the verse is for all of us to listen to. It is a warning to us not to reject JESUS as CHRIST, as our Lord GOD and Savior of our life. No matter what we do in our ”Christian” life, if GOD the SON JESUS CHRIST is not included there as Lord and Savior, it amounts to nothing. Indeed, ”there is only one way to heaven is through the grace of GOD through CHRIST!” It is evident in GOD’s Grace series from GOD the FATHER choosing His elect from before creation, calling and then regenerating them with His Word by writing His commands on their heart, justifying them by their faith through the atoning blood of JESUS and CHRIST imputed righteousness, GOD the FATHER gives His elect to JESUS who keeps/sanctifies them through the guidance and conviction of the HOLY SPIRIT (when they sin) with JESUS CHRIST completing it, and when JESUS comes again, their bodies are transformed into a glorified one; all for the glory alone of GOD. Blessings to you and your family!

      1. Preach it here brother! Crystal clear Gospel presentation! Love this part of your observation of Psalm 118:22= “ is a warning to us not to reject JESUS as CHRIST, as our Lord GOD and Savior of our life.”

    1. You are right, Notes to Women that this verse ties up with Philippians 2:9-11. GOD the FATHER exalted His only SON JESUS CHRIST by giving Him a name, which is above any other name, which will save us and bring salvation to humankind, to those who believe in Him by faith. In the end or when CHRIST gloriously comes again, everyone on earth, including those who initially rebel against Him, will bow to Him and acknowledge that JESUS is Lord GOD and Savior! All these for the glory of GOD the FATHER. Blessings to you and your family!

    1. You are right, Donna! This saving Truth is open to all people to receive, regardless of background, past, and affiliation. The key here is receiving its truth to believe in faith in JESUS CHRIST as Lord GOD of their lives and Savior of their souls; and no other earthly ”deity.” JESUS CHRIST, who has begun a good work in that person will be faithful to complete it. Besides, when one accepts GOD in his/her life, repents, and follows Him, it implies that GOD already had mercy on that person before creation. He chose us first and calls us. Blessings to you, your family, and your ministry!

    1. You are right, Richard! This stood the test of time. In fact, the Old Testament points to JESUS. From the Book of Psalms (Psalm 118:22) to Isaiah (Isaiah 28:16) and Zechariah (Zechariah 10:4), the cornerstone referring to CHRIST can be found. JESUS CHRIST is the cornerstone and foundation of our faith. Blessings to you and your family!

    1. Grateful to GOD that he reveals this Truth to us, Crissy as He revealed it during Pentecost! Indeed, these are powerful verses! JESUS CHRIST is the cornerstone that carries the weight of our faith, the rock of our salvation, and the key to GOD the FATHER’s grace. GOD the FATHER chose us before creation and opens the door for our salvation. The mercy of GOD the FATHER is possible because of His work in us by renewing our mind/heart that we will acknowledge and accept by faith that JESUS is our Lord and Savior and the only way to Him. The HOLY SPIRIT as well points to JESUS as the only way. For this reason, we conclude the series on GOD’s Grace by focusing on the Key even as we know that all the three Persons of the Holy Trinity works for our salvation. Blessings to you, your family, and your ministry!

        1. GOD has a way indeed, Crissy, to divert our path to something better in His name! I’m grateful to GOD for this opportunity not just to be able to share His Word but also as a recipient of His Word, articles from His inspired bloggers/ministers like you guys, lessons/lectures, and other resources. These build up and strengthen my faith in the Triune GOD. I believe we all experience the same when we share His Word that we too are edified by our posts and our colleagues’ posts. A will of GOD for us to be sanctified in CHRIST JESUS. The lives of these servants of GOD that you shared, Crissy, is so inspiring! Blessings to you and your family as well!

        2. It’s encouraging to learn about these servants of God that did not love their lives unto death. At times I wonder how I would fare facing being burned alive. But I do believe that at such times we see the grace of God empowering us to stand.

        3. At that given moment, JESUS still keeps us and we will not be swayed by the temptation of hanging on to this temporal and transient world, Crissy. We probably sing hymns just like what Tyndale did, as you shared in your post. True, it is all GOD’s grace that directs and gives us the peace of heart not to fail. All GOD’s work and all for His glory!
