You are right, Alan! There are those who have no faith in JESUS CHRIST as Lord GOD and Savior despite the exposure to the Gospel; a fearful reminder indeed! It is not yet late for them to repent/confess all their sins directly to the Triune GOD, follow JESUS by faith, and wholeheartedly acknowledged Him in his/her life. This seem simple path is quite hard for those of our loved ones whom GOD have not yet called or those unsaved. We can only pray to GOD to touch their hearts and make/call them to believe by faith in GOD’s grace that saved them through CHRIST alone. We all keep on trying in this battle for the soul. Grateful to GOD for another firey picture that He leads. Talking about seeds, the next in the crosshairs is the sower. This was not supposed to be the post today just to mark Labor day but this similar set of Parable of the Net verses is the logical follow-up to the ending of the Parable of the Weeds. Today is my mom’s 13th birthday in Heaven, you probably encountered back then the dedication part/section of the Gersom Clark Youtube Channel. I can feel the heat from this picture. I feel the intensity. Fire fascinates and terrifies me. When I was younger I used to love to take a lighter and different hair products and see which were more flammable. That stopped the day I about lit the curtains in my room on fire! The wrath of God is no joke. He will hold His enemies accountable. You are so right that we need to pray, pray and pray some more. Praying for you as you reflect on your mom’s home going. I can imagine the controllable flames spewing just like the fire dancers who spew kerosene on a torch in tourist spots. Sometimes we wonder why hell is all fire and not dense icy place or acidic water with piranhas. We can only know in Heaven. Indeed, GOD’s wrath for unrepentantly proud and JESUS denying sinners is shown on the perpetual burning of the flesh that is so so painful than 3rd degree burns (for eternity!!). It is just like GOD’s holiness shown to sinners without the covering/protection or garments/clothing of CHRIST righteousness.
