  1. So glad God’s love does not abandon our soul to the grave! There is hope of eternal life by trusting in Jesus Christ as the one justify us (declare us righteous by the work of JEsus on the Cross) and redeem us (pay the cost so we no longer are a slave to sin). Thanks for this!

    1. You are right, Jim! Because we are justified, redeemed, and sanctified by JESUS CHRIST, we no longer are afraid of what will happen to us when we go. There is hope of eternal life indeed in faith in our Lord GOD and Savior. We are grateful to the Triune GOD for His work in our Salvation! Here, the psalmist poured out all his frustration and anger but still reverent. Blessings to you and your family!

      1. What a blessing! I prayed that God would use these posts of the verses along with the conversations in the comment to plant seeds to a lost and dying world

        1. Oh man, more calm. That was intense. I’ve never seen Nathan so upset as he was thinking that I was going to blow away by putting stacking the furniture so it don’t blow away. We return the boat tomorrow so we will see if they will charge us for the boat cleat coming off. God is good, God is merciful. I was in the process of making you and Kent a video saying how there was a storm coming and maybe this will be our Jesus calms the storm moment but the video was too big to attach. We did get a beautiful rainbow. I have learned so much on this trip and am not the same person I was when I left on Monday! Are you doing pastoral visits today?!

        2. That is wild! I can’t imagine being on board there! I hope the weather won’t be so rough for the rest of the time Mandy! Pastoral visitation is going well, meeting up with a brother right now and going over a book discussion!

    2. Covenant is also involved. Steadfast love in Hebrew is hesed which translates as covenant faithfulness. God is faithful to His covenant even when sinful man is not. Abaddon is the place of destruction and for those who die without Christ, they will not know nor declare His covenant faithfulness. Praise God for those who are in Christ, we know that no matter what trial we go through, God is faithful to His covenant and His covenantal people.

    1. Grateful to GOD for this opportunity, Crissy! There are many similar Bible stories with this kind of predicament. We are grateful to those who have prevailed; giving us lessons such as the person who lost everything and with his wife leaving him, yet he did not follow his friends and wife’s advice to curse GOD. The psalmist released his salvo of anger but did not curse or say awful words to GOD. A good lesson indeed! May GOD Bless your Fry days/Fridays!

    1. Thank you so much for your blessings, Kristo Ann! You are right, JESUS CHRIST love us first as He sacrifice Himself, in His own accord, to the cross to redeem us and because He has no sin, impute His righteousness to us so we can have a right relationship with GOD. Praying for peace in the region as well. Blessings to you and your family as well! Good morning from the Philippines!
