This verse shows how we really can’t think anything we “own” is our “own” ultimately, our wisdom if we are godly is from God, and the sinners and rebels can collect things and God has it given to another; unwise we would be if we trust in possession!
You are definitely right, Jim! Our possession, including wisdom and oxygen, is from GOD. The source is our creator. Unfortunately, it is given that humans take GOD, who gives it, for granted. True, what the sinners and those in “rebellion to GOD” toiled/sacrificed/schemed to gather/collect/obtain, will slipped in their hands towards those whom GOD favored or for His greater purpose. Trusting on possession that slips away is not wisdom at all but using what one possesses to know GOD more and follow JESUS CHRIST further, is Godly wisdom. Blessings to you and your family!
