I see in this word a reminder for all our Lord’s servants. As we bear witness for God and to His gospel, it’s just as important to disciple new believers, praying for them and feeding them from God’s word. If not, they will fall prey to false beliefs and cults, not bearing the fruit of the Spirit bu barrenness.
You are right about discipleship, Dora and how it is a good approach to guide new believers to GOD’s way by His Word in the Bible or what we call Bible alone/Sola scriptura. But for me, it is hard to disciple someone and only the Triune GOD can strengthen and guide us for the task. How I wish I could expound further but you know💤. Good night! We are reminded that in bearing fruit, we can’t be perfect even if we are judged in our imperfection by fellow believers. It is clear, only GOD is perfect and we humbly ask Him that we bear fruit by His hand/work in us.
You are right! Patience is essential in the Christian life especially in evangelization. Yes, in GOD’s control/direction, the patience of spreading the good news of salvation to a potential believer will have results. Blessings to you and your family!
