You are absolutely right, Jim! We need GOD the FATHER’s grace and the constant guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT more than worldly wisdom. Both the fool and the wise, Christian or otherwise, will have the same fate and yet those whom GOD has given grace, worships Him for eternity in Heaven. Maybe that’s the reason people stayed home) Next week is the beginning of two weeks of school holidays so we are going to be able to approach the young folk which is always interesting.
Praying for you and your community, Crissy! Yes, the young should be informed on GOD’s Truth that they won’t be swayed by what the world offers and to discern.
Wisdom apart from God isn’t wisdom, it’s foolishness, death and destruction. The one prayer God always answers when asked for in faith is wisdom. Either God’s people today aren’t asking for wisdom in faith or they aren’t being obedient to the wisdom God has given them. May God have mercy and help us to traverse these times where worldly wisdom increasingly hostile to God and His people. Love and blessings to you and your family!

Usually the folks we are having over this evening meet on Saturday however this month, Saturday didn’t work for everyone so we are meeting today. That’s why the convo isn’t this Friday. I just finished 1st episode of Shadow and Bone and just started Episode 2 before sleeping. It is a different adventure. I read tue map and the stories of the countries just to understand the setting and the story.

You can’t compare it with FATWS or the last few episodes of WV, Mandy, which are better than L thus far. It is different take too but more on the darkside as the Cathedral window shows; after all his a villian going to anti-hero. Now with S&B, she knows she is a sun summoner.
Yes she does! So I am fascinated by beliefs in the Greco-Roman world. Nathan is fascinated by all things Norse and Viking. I can’t think of classical history movies but have you watch the “last full measure” (2020) that stars Backy Barnes/Sebastian Stan, it is a good movie. Hahaha the Norse mythology, the Thor Asgard one. 😉 Good morning! 🌤
