    1. Yes! Crissy, you translated the Tagalog/Filipino sentence and that is the slogan of the Community Pantry based on a political thinker. Mind you, that one tray like shelf was the first ever Community Pantry (with just a few clicks from our old apartment) and it has grown nationwide, feeding a lot of Filipinos for a time when we had a surged and overwhelmed health care services; this was out of the generous hearts of people initiated by Patricia Non (the source of the picture). In this verse, GOD-inspired Solomon has reminded us to help (prayer/material/comfort) people, in their need. Some/few of them might help us in return but we should not to expect to be reciprocated. Actually, I’m feeling convicted by this lately in the pandemic but it is not late to be back. Ecclesiastes, indeed has a lot to offer in that area in tandem with Proverbs.         1. Actually, it is a long story, Crissy, as long as the queue of people, lining as early as 3am in front, for the free food as seen on TV and our CCTV. Mind you, these were not street dwellers, were modestly dressed, and some (if not most) have smart phones but they probably were out of work. It also has trickle effect as it helped farmers sell their produced to the kind hearted souls who transported and donated loads and loads of goods to different community pantries. I don’t deserved it at all, Crissy. I’m asking for GOD’s forgiveness instead, for being scared with C19, the pandemic by not implementing plans and desired actions in those inkling moments. But, it is not too late yet. GOD has always bless us with heart warming/melting opportunities as He did several times prior to March 2020 (15 months I’ve not gone out beyond 4 meters of the gate and tomorrow is my second dose/time), all for faith in Him and His glory. Seeing someone thanking GOD, for a spur of the moment move, warms the 🧡. 😊

        2. I had no idea it was so bad over there. I wasn’t aware. I just did a search online. So
          sad. It’s heartwarming to see people reaching out to those in need even risking their health to do it. (It reminds me of Martin Luther during the bubonic plague. His thoughts written in a letter I was reading yesterday)

    1. Actually, with the verse, I thought this was the Book of Proverbs than Ecclesiastes. This even has heartwarming and even practical suggestions especially tomorrow’s verse. Somethings that I restrained myself from doing in this pandemic. Good night, pastor!

    1. Thank you Jeff! Grateful to GOD for this picture! That picture is of the very first Community Pantry at Maginhawa street during the Pandemic. Initiated by Patricia Non during the time when hospitals were overwhelmed with the surge of patients needing intensive care, businesses were closed, and workforce were reduced. The initiative grew and spread in many parts despite some forces. Although it did not last long but it did help a lot of people in their need. We are grateful to GOD for watching over us all and made things possible. As the Word indicates, we pay it forward regardless if its reciprocated. Blessings to you and your family!

    1. True Donna! We have to help others and not only this is Godly wisdom but JESUS CHRIST’s commandment to love our neighbors as ourselves. Grateful to GOD for both the picture and the initiative of the one who took the picture. Patricia started a Community Pantry in just that small tray or shelf in my old neighborhood that turned into a nationwide movement to give food to those who were in need in the height of the pandemic, lockdown, and closure of shops and services. It was something good and I’m sure GOD is in control of it; showing His faithfulness to those in dire need by inpiring people to help. Blessings to you, your family, and your ministry!
