Yes, in the latter verses we can see the tenants that were aggressive to the servants of the owner, killing the messenger of the owner and his son. This foreshadowed the crucifixion of JESUS and the stoning/execution of Stephen and the disciples & followers of CHRIST. This and the previous Parables deal with the larger chosen people who rejected their Messiah and GOD. We are grateful to the Triune GOD that He keeps Jews in belief and faith in Him then and now. A blessed Sunday!
True and in line with the Great Commission! We must not stop sharing the Gospel of the Triune GOD’s Salvation work; giving hope to all. What JESUS CHRIST did for us is something that powers us up to share GOD’s Word in any means (not just blog) and whatever we will face. Blessings to you and your family!
Thanks for blessing your readers with these parables. During recent Sunday worship messages, we are working through some of Jesus’ parables (Luke 18 today).
JESUS’ Parables are rich with lessons, encouragement, and instructions. This 2nd set of Parables, including 2 from Luke 18, is a very very long introduction/appetizer to the short topic of repentance. Blessings to you and your family!
Just occurred to me — This parable follows Stephen’s witness of God’s dealing with Israel and its apostasy, just before he was stoned to death.
