They accepted fully the Truth that JESUS is the SON of GOD and the CHRIST; and like a child, they were eagerly running to Him knowing that He said He will be risen on the third day. With the news coming from the women, Mary and company, they bolted towards JESUS. This act of repentance by Peter is a huge difference between the two disciples we are comparing in the series.
