We are grateful, Mandy! 😊 Very True! 👍This Good Friday commemoration is also a reminder that JESUS was resurrected, is alive then, now, and forevermore. When we were kids, some folks were scaring us that we should not go outside the compound and cuts/bruises are not healed on a Good Friday and Black Saturday because JESUS has died. We will laugh at this falsehood now 🤣 but the existence of this thought is a sad one. 🙁 We can remind people that JESUS CHRIST died once and He died for all and for all our sins so we will live someday with Him in Heaven.☝ And accepting JESUS as Master Who is in control of our lives and Savior, in faith, is the best approach to this Truth. 🙂👍 Thank you Nathan and happy fishing! 🎣 🐟 GOD bless you Mandy and Nathan!
Very true Crissy! We serve the only one True Living GOD! Our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST lives! We are free from not believing superstitions that Good Fryday 🐟 and Black Saturday are dangerous days because JESUS is not around; the things we were made to believe when we were kids. Goodness, so much superstition. When I was a kid living in Spain with my grandparents, my grandma wouldn’t let me sing or laugh on Good Friday. We had to be sad all day. That was a tall ask for a kid.
Now we are free from that Crissy; thanking GOD for illuminating us through His Word! We can smile at it now on how we were victims of such thought/belief. The former colony is no different that aside from the Spanish words we use everyday, we are also recipients to these superstitions; augmented by our ancestral beliefs. 😉

This set of verses is rich with Truths. Our Lord/Master and Savior JESUS washes our sins with His blood so we will not be condemned to hell. With this remission, we must live a life of faith and trust in our Master. Our sinful earthly body will perish someday. Those who believe in faith in CHRIST will have glorified bodies (Heaven ready) when He comes again. GOD bless you and your family! Happy midnight plus from the Philippines!
