Grateful to GOD for this ground(ed) perspective of the picture and His will/plan for us all, Mandy! Thank you also for shedding light that GOD renews our heart to make us discern in order to understand His Word and not to be swayed by unbiblical teachings and the teachers that propagate them. Indeed, evil is always trying to disrupt what JESUS CHRIST has planted, may it be in the individual level or the institution aka the body, throughout time. All this is GOD’s sovereign control and for His ultimate Glory i.e. His saved people worshipping Him in Heaven. A blessed Sunday to you, Nathan, and your parents. Still praying for your brother.
Yes, indeed, Jim! There are people and also what Paul mentioned in Ephesians 6:12 that, “we wrestle…against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” Blessings to you, Nancy, and your kids!

We must always beware of Satan’s agents who seek to harm us but more importantly who seek to sow discord, deceit and dissent at every opportunity. Just like the cuckoo they place their eggs in someone else’s nest, amongst believers.
That is what war is, Alan! If our military has psychological operations, so do evil’s agents, both the fallen angels/demons and its human collaborators. We are all in a spiritual warfare and the battle is for our soul. Some, solely by GOD’s grace were able to know GOD, seek Him, and believe in Him (while some are lost). Yet, as you pointed out, evil can still “sow discord, deceit and dissent at every opportunity” even among believers and churches. Until be are in our glorified bodies as JESUS completes our sanctification, we are not immune to sin, temptation, dissent, and discord. We have to be steadfast in faith and in prayer to GOD in our sanctification process. The good news is, GOD keeps to the very end and that is comforting. Blessings to you and your family!
We are in a spiritual war! The enemy is always trying to rob, kill and destroy us and the work the Lord has called us to. But the weapons of our warfare are mighty through God.
Praise God!
A blessed evening to you Clark.
True Crissy! In this Spiritual warfare, we anchor on GOD who will give us the “Armor of GOD” (Ephesians 6:10-20) all by His grace. And that will be in the next(s) series. GotQuestions has a series on the topic lately. Indeed, we praise GOD that He fights evil for us, all we have to do is strengthen our faith in Him (as He also strengthens our faith); relying solely on Him im the process. Blessings to you, your family, and your ministry team!
Looking forward to the spiritual warfare series Clark.
Sometimes the battle is fierce and like David in the Psalms I want to run away .
Blessings for your day .
True, the battle is fierce as the enemy does not have rules to follow. We rely upon GOD who will vanquish the enemy in His Omnipotence. We can only seek Him as our Savior. Blessings my friend!
Nice image! So thankful for God’s discernment to help us understand His Word and to discern false teachers/teachings!

What a reminder that there are people who want to hinder the work of God and the advancement of the kingdom of God
