The children of man are destined to destruction while the children of God are destined to and for eternity. Sobering. Praise the Triune God for His gift of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone. You are absolutely right! The key message is GOD’s children are destined for His Kingdom in Heaven. Those who don’t have the faith in the Triune GOD ends in the clutches of evil and its influence; living a life in the cage of evil’s time and is destined for hell/pit. Indeed, we should praise GOD for saving us and drawing us closer to Him. On a side note, the Preacher or Solomon seems to have a different tone in verse 11 from the Book of Proverbs. However, he used/wrote what is seen in verse 11 for verse 12. Without verse 12, the graphics could have been pinball or any other game of chance. Blessings to you Mandy, Nathan and your family!
Reading this makes me think of how often we don’t know how things will end; and the arrogant and the evil ones are often presumptious to think they can get away with it…
The only way we can discern in all these is to trust the Triune GOD in His salvation work, acknowledge Him in life, and follow JESUS CHRIST in faith as everything other than GOD is temporary and fleeting. A blessed Sunday to you and your family!
