Yes, Jim, I presumed the disciples were so happy to see Jesus the third time around. As a reader, “I can only imagine what it would be like” to eat along with JESUS and to eat what the GOD cooks; grilled fresh fish [mixed with calamansi and chilis].
An assurance that we are saved indeed, Big Sky Buckeye. JESUS met a lot of people/witnesses after His resurrection and they know it is the Christ. GOD did not left a stone unturned in this important event/proof.

I read about these appearances of Jesus after He has risen with excitement and hope.
