Good evening Mandy! This is one of the verses that signify JESUS is GOD! “For in [JESUS] all the fullness of” Deity dwell. He is truly Divine! GOD the FATHER exalted JESUS to the glory of GOD the FATHER (Philippians 2:9-11). And whoever does not honor JESUS, a Member of the Holy Trinity, is not honoring GOD the FATHER (John 5:19-23). Amen indeed! On the next and next verses, we will delve on the glorified body.
That is indeed the essence of the Good News, Jim! Because JESUS is GOD, He was the only worthy sacrifice to pay the punishments for all our million individual sins in millions/billions of people ever since and until an unknown date in the future. JESUS paid all those numerous sins for His elect so we can be reconciled with GOD the FATHER and not burned/disintegrated in His Holy presence (back to my analogy of a microbe at the center of the sun). We now accept and confess that JESUS CHRIST is our Savior and Lord of our life at the prodding and conviction of the HOLY SPIRIT. Thanking the Triune GOD in His work in our salvation.
Grateful to GOD for this Truth that we believe in faith, come know Him through His Word, and edification from you and the rest. May we always be on fire in spreading His Word until He comes. Good morning from the Philippines!
You are right about it Donna! There is more reason to be grateful to the Triune GOD! We thank GOD for this revelation and one of the verses that signify that JESUS is GOD. We are grateful to anchor in Him in faith and hope to meet JESUS someday. GOD bless you, your family, and ministry!

What a truth to meditate upon: To know that Jesus is God (v.19) would go to the Cross for our sins (v.20). Thank you for this verse
