    1. True Jim! It is GOD’s choice/election and mercy/grace. GOD’s gifts, including His sovereign election, are irrevocable. When the Unchanging GOD gives mercy, He gives it completely and he does not revoke it. In the words of John MacArthur, it “is unconditional and unchangeable, because it is rooted in [H]is [I]mmutable nature and expressed in the unilateral, eternal Abrahamic Covenant” in the case of “Israel during the Tribulation.” The deliverer is our Lord GOD and Savior, JESUS CHRIST (verse 26) who “will banish ungodliness from Jacob” (ESV). This is just “like that of individual believers including the remnants of Israel throughout time.” What an awesome and forgiving Triune GOD! And what an amazing grace and mercy GOD has! Blessings to you, Nancy, and the kids!

    1. I agree with you, Crissy, we all do! Indeed, the Creator GOD’s wisdom is incomparable and we could not (ever) measure/grasp it. Example, noticeable in these verses is His mercy and grace through His choosing/election of sinful, undeserving, and even unbelieving individuals and yet in GOD’s wisdom He calls them and bestows His irrevocable gifts (leading to salvation). To answer your question, my thoughts are a hardened heart, and not called at all or not YET called individuals. It is still about GOD’s mercy (to whom He opens the eyes/heart). Good morning in there and blessings to you, your family, and next week’s outreach!

At bakit napakahalaga nito?
