True, Nicky! Indeed, JESUS CHRIST is our solid rock foundation that we cling on in our faith and our refuge during the storms of our life! Blessings to you and your family!
You are right, Crissy! We praise GOD the FATHER for fulfilling His promise by sending His only Son, JESUS CHRIST to teach us the Truth, atone for all our sins, and save us from our sinful nature. We are grateful for the Triune GOD’s work on our salvation! Blessings to you and your family!
True, Jim! You are right, there is no neutrality with the choice of accepting JESUS CHRIST as Lord and Savior, or not. Fence-sitters are considered not accepting JESUS. One way or another, we have to choose. We have to choose early on while we can still do it. We have to embrace Him fully and follow His path and carry His cross regardless of what happens in our world. For that, JESUS, the cornerstone, is a stumbling block to many. This is just an introductory verse to CHRIST’s pronouncements on election. That picture was shot in Edo-Tokyo Museum. Blessings to you, Nancy, and your kids!
Yes, lukewarm to JESUS reminds us of Revelation 3:16*. Look warm is better! When trusting CHRIST’s way and having faith in Him as our Lord GOD and Savior, we should do it fully and completely without doubts. That picture is part of a exact replica of a bridge within the museum.
* “So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.” (ESV)

You are right, Alan! The verse is relevant to a famous hymn (if not vice versa) that it even has a version in my native tongue and like the original song, the Cebuano version still emphasizes that JESUS CHRIST is the “solid rock that I stand.” Indeed, our “hope is built on nothing less than JESUS CHRIST, [our] righteousness.” True, “ all other ground is sinking sand” to the abyss. Faith in JESUS as our Lord GOD and Savior is the only way. Blessings to you and your family!
Amen! Jesus is our rock!

There is no neutrality with Christ! He is either one’s Lord and Savior but if not, He’s someone that others stumble over

Thanks for sharing the background of the picture! Love how you said this, so quotable: “ Fence-sitters are considered not accepting JESUS.”
