  1. How gracious is God to bring us to repentance and bring us to obedience and life in Him!

Philippians 2:12-13 (ESV) “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” Blessed assurance!

    1. Amen! Truly, GOD is gracious, Dora! So when a person decides to repent and change ways, he/she is assured thar GOD will be with him/her in his/her walk of faith and obedience to His commands (just like that Cambodian boy who reads the Bible). A blessed Friday ahead and have a peaceful snore! I like that song, 🎵 Blessed Assurance, JESUS is mine. Oh what fortaste of glory divine…🎶

      1. A great old hymn. I’ve been singing it since childhood – many decades – and will be singing it until JESUS calls me home! Have a good night, Kent, and may you awaken refreshed to magnify the Lord our God through the weekend!

      1. Wow that’s awesome that this picture is of a boy reading in Cambodia; that country has had a rough history the last 50 years; taught there for pastor’s training a few years back, wasn’t easy place..

    1. Amen! It is something that we should rejoice, Alan! To think about it, the alternative is not a desired place to be with forever. So, yes, we should be truly grateful to the Triune GOD for His Work in our Salvation, redeeming us from our sins and its penalty. Hallelujah indeed!! Blessings to you and your family!

  2. Responding to your comment on my post: I know that topic of my post wasn’t easy for many; I didn’t want to make it political all the time but I wrote it since some people around me were concern with how the guy in the video have been attacking other Christians and I felt the need to show the guy keep bullying Christians for not knowing politics was getting too much for me…hope you are doing okay brother, it took me a whole week since last friday to research for that post staying up till 5 every night…

    1. Well, I can’t respond directly on your own post or I’ll be absurdly responding on my own comment (with your response not in sight of course) but it is good that you clarified it and worth the research time. Kudos!👏

  3. I have been that son more times than I can count. The Holy Spirit convicts me that this life isn’t about me and what I want but what our Triune God wants and so I go and do what I originally said I would not do. May we stay sensitive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

    1. Great insight Mandy! May we stay sensitive then in the guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT. Praying constantly to GOD for you and your family including your brother! And those whose family member(s) needing salvation/call from GOD. Yup, currently binge watching with Netflix newest set of episodes in this free time. Blessings to you and your family!

  4. I used to share this parable with my two children when they were in their teens because they were both like the two sons in this parable.
    Blessings Clark.

    1. Crissy, I can imagine how a mother discusses this Parable to her children. Honestly, I’m only aware of this Parable this recent years; probably it is overshadowed by the prodigal son parable. We will always pray that those who still need to be called by GOD, in His saving grace. Still praying too for your Fryday. We will be having a lockdown soon. Blessings to you and your family!
