True! Without GOD the SON’s atoning sacrifice for the propitiation of our sins, all these will not be possible. JESUS CHRIST, in His own words, said that we should repent. Whatever socio-economic status we are or the gravity of sins, it is not an indication of being the worse offender or even a hopeless case. As you have said, because we are able to repent and GOD accepts that sincere repentance, is what matters. Blessings to you and your family!
This is a very sobering picture; juxtaposition with this verse we know that we are no different from others; how we need God’s common grace and saving grace!
We all are really in need of the Triune GOD’s Saving Grace that leads to repentance as we also need His common grace that sustains according to His Sovereign will and plan for all of us. Recalling the line in the poem, All Things Bright and Beautiful, with the line, “GOD made them high and lowly and ordered their state,” being one in the lowly state/position, I know it is GOD’s discipline for me (e.g. superheroes stuff) but I also know He has a purpose and plan (e.g. this blog, sanctification) for GOD’s ultimate glory.
