Greetings, Kent! It is a fearful/terrible thing to fall into the Hands of the Living God! Lying to the Holy Spirit is no joke! Many people are self-deceived in that their actions aren’t a lie to God. May we continue to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit living in obedience to His Word. Love and blessings!!!!
Very true, Mandy! We fear Him who can destroy both body and soul (Matthew 10:28). The Triune GOD is the only GOD, and He judges those who sinned and rebelled against Him. We are grateful for His grace that saves us from eternal torment in hell! Lying irreverently to the HOLY SPIRIT, who is GOD, is a serious sin indeed! As I’ve written two days ago in Filipino, Ananias thought that GOD is a joke but because of this he and his wife is an example for us to consider not to do. May we be sensitive and be very careful not to do so. Again, Happy Thanksgiving to you and Nathan! Blessings to you and your family!
