Good morning, Mandylorian! ๐ ๐ Yes, this series break is timely for the Holy Week! Something that we all should reflect upon. Talking about reflection, this set of verses makes us confidently grateful to the Triune GOD for His Salvation work and awesome Sovereign grace towards us. We accept this Truth in faith on Him Who can do the impossible things (e.g. forgiving us). No amount of what we do could ever pay a fraction of our single sin in a million more. Yet, it is not an excuse to live a sinful and faithless life. I like what is written in the McArthur Bible Study. “Since faith is contrasted with work, faith must mean the end of any attempt to earn GOD’s favor through personal merit. And “[in] spite of the enormity of his sin and the utter absence of personal merit, David knew the blessing of imputed righteousness.” See you virtually in an hour and half at Skype. GOD’s blessings to you, Nathan, and your family!
Mandy, I had fun in our conversation with Crissy and Alan tonight (Philippine Time). Thank you so much for organizing/calling us to Skype. We should do this more often. ๐โบ๐๐
