Yes Jim, the GOD in three persons works in us; as a “new creation”, it would be hard for us to derail/backslide if we completely trust in Him (but possible, unfortunately for those who lack in faith in Christ amidst temptations, trials, and earthly concerns). The Holy Spirit will convict us when we commit sin.
