That is what made me sad about missing on Tuesday was the extra prayers for the youth. Yes, I hope the youth remember God so I echo this prayer with you. I am also grieved by how little progressive society will tolerate their children hear about Christ, yet these folks will allow their kids to hear all kinds of evil, filth and confusion. God will not deal kindly with those confuse children. Jesus said let the little children come to Him. May we seek ways to invite children to know Jesus rather than give into popular culture.
Aww thanks Mandy for your prayers for our youths. It amazes me and encourages me your love for our church youth. We live in such a backward time in the USA right now…
This graphic speaks volumes, complementing the verse perfectly! Our young people are being surrounded by people and devices in their ears constantly. But oh that they would be still and know God while they are yet young! Have a restful night, Kent.
Grace and peace to you and yours,
Dora
Grateful to GOD for this picture Dora! Thankful also to those who provide Christian pictures! True indeed, there are so many distractions these days, especially for the kids, the youth, and the young at heart; there are many games, tricks, and other enticements in this world that demands/corners their attention, in some instances, away from GOD. Yes, Solomon encouraged the youth to “be still and know GOD while they are yet young” as they will encounter so many more distraction and evil as they aged. Although, it is better to live by faith and trust in JESUS CHRIST at an early age but it is not yet too for those who repent, acknowledge JESUS as their Savior and trusting Him as their Lord GOD in an older age; but it is risky as they might not have the time left to do it. Likewise, Dora, a blessed Thursday morning! Blessings to you and your family!
Like I said before I have walked down some hard, long, dark roads as a youth and I am compelled to help youth today know Christ. Too often the church treats children and single folks as an after thought and that is just wrong! May the body of Christ come together to equip the whole body regardless of age, race, ethnicity, male, female etc. So thankful for our salvation and for the opportunity to remember our Creator together! Love and blessings brother!
That is a very strong testimony Mandy, of GOD’s Grace, Justice, Righteous, and Love. Cliché may it be but GOD has a mission for you for His glory. It also speaks about your heart as you also cared for the youth that they won’t be enticed by so many temptations. GOD is using you! Blessings to you and your family!
THis made me pray about our youth group…hoping they remember God

Praying with you on that petition to GOD. GOD directs the lives of those who draw near to Him! This is a penultimate post on the Book of Ecclesiastes.

Kind of you to reply so thoughtfully. I wrote a short story on my blog once using lines from Ecclesiastes and Proverbs, with Lemuel and Qoheleth as characters. Here’s the link if interested:

Have a blessed weekend!
