Immediately thought of the apostle’s words in 2 Peter 3:9 (ESV): “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.”
Amen! We have hope that GOD wants us all to hear the Gospel/good news of salvation and repent upon listening to these truths i.e. change of mind by having faith in JESUS CHRIST as Lord GOD of our life and Savior from the punishment because of our sins. There are Truths, including GOD’s Character, that we can ponder from this verse alone and foremost is that GOD leads us to repentance. Out of our own and of course without His Hand, we won’t repent and chose Him. He allowed us to hear the Gospel and renewed our heart to be opened to the message of the Triune GOD’s salvation work and seek Him. I’m grateful that GOD did for all of us.
