There is a reason for this verse to be added in the Bible. In the company of his “lieutenants, adjutants, peers, guards and merry band of persecutors,” only Saul of Tarsus saw JESUS. Yes, seeing GOD and lived. May we be motivated too to hear GOD’s Word to be prepared to see Him in His glory! Blessings to you and your family!
If their hearts were tuned in to GOD, they would have acted on the words of JESUS on why have Paul (and them, included) persecuted GOD’s people, aside from having goosebumps. The Bible is silent of what happened to them after but if it is GOD’s will, they too could have repented. On a different note, actually, it is like someone hearing a voice from a Bluetooth speaker without any knowledge of the technology. Blessings to you and your family!
I wonder about this sometimes! If I may be honest, I think I would be more astounded that Saul/Paul was blind and needed led by the hand to get to Damascus than Jesus speaking. I say that only because I could convince myself that what I heard was in my head. I would have a very difficult time reconciling how Paul physically had his sight and then lost it. They could have left him because they were scared but they didn’t.
As y’all know I am a verbal processor thank you for your patience with me! Love, hugs and blessings to y’all and your families!!!!
Great point! With all these “hand of GOD” things that they have seen, it is astounding that they won’t run to look for this JESUS whose voice they all have heard like a GOD and power they have seen. Bringing to safety an idolized boss, a close friend, or a comrade/buddy in the quest is like any other goody good deeds without faith. After all, it was GOD’s will that they have brought Paul to safet so GOD’s plan for him will be fulfilled. We will know someday if these travel companions had genuine repentance; we hope so. And if JESUS have kept them too, what a good story indeed. Blessings to you and your family!
I can see what you are saying. The blinding and seeing again also involves others seeing it happened over a duration of time than a flash of the moment. Good thoughts!!!
The guy with the full face in the image looks so much like one of my friend’s son. Do you mind if I send her your image Clark?
Have a peaceful and blessed weekend.
Hope all is well over you side of
the ocean.
Crissy, sure! No hay problema. I’m not so sure if my Spanish is correct, it was just what I remembered creo que si. Likewise mi amiga, a blessed Sabado ahead!
Really? Nope, there are words that we know of but conjugating them in a sentence es muy deficil. That is true, so hard for me to make a sentence now out of memory without Google. Tambien, Crissy! Good night my friend and keep safe always! 😊
May all have ears to hear God’s voice and one day we will see His face.

That’s a good analogy: “ it is like someone hearing a voice from a Bluetooth speaker without any knowledge of the technplogy”
