Our Lord’s reply is definitive in how closely he identifies with us, His church, in union with us. We should never feel abandoned by Him however it may seem.
Amen! May we reflect on this Dora! True, we should not feel abandoned including those who once persecuted the church but GOD calls them anyway! There is hope in JESUS CHRIST! Blessings to you and your family!
The power of the Triune GOD! GOD is Sovereign and by His will, can call a person and renew the person’s mind into repentance and service, even the vilest ones. We praise JESUS CHRIST for this, Donna! Blessings to you and your family!
Looks like it was a superbroken experience with mixed of 1) guilt and 2) shame of what he did against JESUS and His followers, 3) anger towards and 4) betrayal from his peers, 5) stupidity of not finding the Truth about the CHRIST from all his studies, 6) sadness from a missed opportunity to be with GOD while He was visibly walking with people, 7) gratitude to GOD the FATHER for giving him a second chance, and 8) joy in the knowledge that GOD loves him. All these realizations (and maybe more) were probably pounding him to repentance by the HOLY SPIRIT’s hand, in the blindness of daylight. Blessings to you and your family!
Good sequence listed of what Paul went through. Reading this one can also see what God does in people’s lives who come to Christ…to come to Christ as Lord and Savior, trusting in His life, death and resurrection done to save us from our sins!!
One of the great examples of GOD’s amazing grace that saved a once wretched and blind strongest follower of JESUS CHRIST, Crissy! Bendiciones mi amiga!

The chiefest of sinners against Christ becomes the chiefest among ambassadors for Christ. That’s repentance plus grace and mercy.

I can’t image how Paul must have been broken to learn that truth…and yet its broken-ness that led by the Spirit would lead to repentance
