Grateful to the Triune GOD for His Word that reveals His salvation work and points to Him–a true GOD that we can anchor our faith to. We seek for the best “thing” in this world. But the best one actually is GOD’s Word, which most of us have all along. Blessings to you and your family!
Hello PK! You probabaly did already. WordPress has a way sometimes to independently unfollow. It is good to check sometimes. See you around in blog world. Blessings to you and your family! Good night!
When I have read this verse over the years it speaks to me of my relationship with Almighty God and His Word. The things of the Triune God who saves us should be first and foremost in our life, never taking 2nd or even 3rd place to worldly distractions.
Yes, I’m convicted, Alan! So timely that this is the only late post (i.e. April 24) in months and you are right, due to worldly distractions that I forgot to upload. So, I have to check if I have uploaded a 7-day series on the Parable of the Weeds. Let us focus then in service to GOD. Blessings to you and your family!
You are not alone in this brother, I too have been distracted by health/domestic things lately. But these are part of our training in our walk with Him.
And also, it makes us appreciate His grace! True Alan, it is the molding part i.e. sanctification process. It is also a way that GOD wants us to see that without Him actively participating in our sanctification, we can easily forget Him and derail. Also, we can see GOD’s hand in redirecting us on the right path. The arduous long sanctification process indeed and His Word, which contains the Truths and promises is our light as He guides us.
Love the picture with the guy reaching for the greatest treasure: God’s Word!
