    1. Yes, like animals that remained below the ground, there is no hope for those who are wicked (verses 16 and 17) and did not repent nor was saved by GOD. Those who are saved by GOD’s grace alone, through JESUS CHRIST alone, by faith alone need not to worry. Reiterating my comment on your yesterday’s post (July 3), “we no longer end like dust in the wind with the assurance from GOD of a glorified body.” Amen? Blessings to you and your family!

  1. Thanks, Kent! I wasn’t reading the Bible at the time, but I can vividly remember hearing Kansas’ “Dust in the Wind” on the radio in 1977 and being thoroughly depressed by the lyrics. I can remember my wife’s nephew (he’s just a few years younger than her) celebrating the song at the time because it supported his anti-religion atheism.

    1. Thank you too, Tom! There are many songs in the world that are dependent on the interpretation of the listener and there are those that are deemed satanic by some (e.g. reversing the cassette tape). Solomon, in his Wisdom, knew GOD’s testing just like man that he observed that saw themselves like beast that are dusted in the wind. Basing on that notion alone, life is depressing, vapor, and enigma without trusting GOD (as the title of the series suggest). Those with no hope, continue their wicked lives/ways as they thought the line ends below the ground and there is no eternity (either torment or worship). We, who have faith in GOD, knew that either we go back to dust and be resurrected later or still alive and meet JESUS CHRIST in the clouds (during rapture) transformed, we will have a glorified body (removed from the presence of sin) in Heaven. The cat/lynx has his/her song but we trust GOD for what He has in store for us in Heaven. Blessings to you and your family!

    1. You are definitely right, Crissy! By GOD the FATHER’s grace, JESUS CHRIST’s atonement for our sins in the cross and imputed righteousness, we are saved by faith and thus we can go beyond mere dirt in the tempest or below ground. Now, we are constantly guided by the HOLY SPIRIT and we must listen (sensitive) to His prodding. We are grateful and humbled indeed, that the Triune GOD saved us where we cannot even aspire for it truly. Blessings to you, your Fryday Team, and your family! Keep safe and jog on! GOD willing, lockdown will be over.
