Yes, worshipping GOD in Heaven is no comparison to any temporary blessings or “the good things” in life in this world. We have encountered those in the Book of Ecclesiastes and this pleasurable and “satisfying” life on this earth is just a vapor. While living for CHRIST, following Him is forever. On the otherhand, rejecting JESUS leads to never ending story of torment in the fiery 🔥 hell (and not in an afterlife fantasy pocket universe of unBiblical second chances). Blessings to you, your family, youth group!
Some I didn’t see this comment till now. So true what you said about rejecting Christ leads to “never ending story” of torment (which is biblical). Sobering!
It is sad the world does not realize this life is the best it gets for them if they do not turn to Christ. For us, as followers of Christ, we have a great hope. For this world is the worst it will ever be for us for the best is still ahead. May we be faithful to share the good news.
You are definitely right Donna, life in a temporary/transient world was the best though very very short for someone who rejects JESUS. The thing is, the eternal is so tormenting that the so short time of pleasure and not seeking CHRIST will not be worth it. True, as what GOD has promised through His Word, we have hope of worshipping Him in Heaven. Listening to your call Donna, may we be. Blessings to you and your family!
☝👍Heaven is like a paradise while hell is a fiery pit. While there is no doubt that these two are Biblical places, my question is: the fantasy pocket universe of second chances isn’t, right pastor?
Indeed they are real places and there is a real heaven and hell. And since there is no second chances, that always move me to think of the importance of evangelism now…
Reading this makes me think about how eternity matters more than temporary blessings on this side of the grave…
