  1. This is one of my most favorite parables! It reminds me of how important it is A.S.K! It also reminds me how God can and will use anyone to accomplish His will and to sanctify/transform the character of His people. Love and blessings, brother! Praying for you.

    1. You are right, Mandy, the subseries/Parable points to A.S.K. by praying to GOD who does respond faithfully accoring to His will and time. Continuing our on previous dicussion, GOD gives good and perfect gift. Jumping forward to 4 verses ahead, this for the good of His elect. The funny part in this kind of series is that we can predict the next verses than the topical or random one. I’m grateful to GOD for His love in transforming people and your life’s testimony will give hope. Blessings to you and Nathan!

      1. I am thankful for your testimony as well! I am thankful for your friendship! In am thankful for your heart for Christ! I was emailing back and forth with someone over the weekend who doesn’t adhere to election and perseverance of the saints. God elects His own and gives us what we need, partnering with Him in sanctification, discipleship, and evangelism until He brings us home to Him. Blessings brother! Keep on A.S.K.ing God!

        1. There are those who simply can’t fathom election, hopefuly just for now, Mandy. GOD will someday open their hearts and make them see that the decision and control (of their destiny) to choose is not theirs but GOD’s. There are many verses in the New and Old Testaments and the pronouncements of JESUS CHRIST (Luke 18:7 included) that layed down the Truth that GOD the FATHER elects/chooses before Creation, out of His divine prerogative. Humility is the key on election and A.S.K./prayer is its reverent manifestation/form.

  2. “To pray and not lose heart” — Christ Jesus Himself is our example. Luke tells us many times that he would withdraw to a lonely place and pray. How much more should we! Hope you have a great day rejoicing in the Lord, Kent.

    1. You are right, Dora, JESUS CHRIST has showed us many times to pray and not lose heart even in Gethsemane. We never give up A.S.K.ing and talking to GOD. May GOD also keep you and your family! A blessed week ahead!

  3. Persistence in prayer, especially when we feel like we are not getting an answer. We wait with an expectation and perseverance in prayer because we are assured that He hears us and is working on our behalf.

    1. You are absolutely right Perth Girl! GOD hears all our prayers and persistence is the key! Although, in GOD’s Wisdom and in the depth of His Knowledge, He answers our prayers differently, according to His right timing, and far better from what we might expect. Prayer actually boils down to trusting Him even if we cannot grasp His workings or response. Like you’ve “we wait with an expectation and perseverance.” Yes, even if we will only know in Heaven His actual response to our prayer. Blessings to you and your family!
