Amen! A fortaste of what will happen during the Lord’s (judgement) day. The message of Salvation is for everyone in the world to come into repentance and believe by faith our Lord GOD and Savior JESUS CHRIST. Salvation is not universal but limited to those who respond to the message, whom GOD elects. No one knows who are elected. It is by trusting JESUS CHRIST, by the prompting and guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT, that we will know if we are truly called to faith by GOD the FATHER. So, it is an invitation to our readers to put their trust and faith in JESUS CHRIST as their Master. Blessings to you and your family!
GOD knew what He created (including the place called hell) and where His creation would be if they don’t have faith in Him as their Lord and Savior, Dora. You are right, JESUS CHRIST discussed it more than Peter, Paul, John, and the rest. He loves us that He warned us on this, the day that He will judge everyone who rebelled. This is an invitation to everyone to have a relationship with JESUS by following Him by faith. Blessings to you and your family!
I was listening to a sermon on this same passage. The preacher said that the “wedding garments” are the righteousness of Jesus Christ, that we are clothed with when we are commanded to put on Christ .

That is divine coincidence/timing, Crissy! True, with GOD revealing His Word to us, writing it in our hearts, we can surmised that the symbolic proper clothes here is actually the Righteousness of JESUS CHRIST that He impute/clothe/covers our filthy/sinful life as we are commanded to put on CHRIST (Galatians 3:27). Cases are still rising here, friends succumbed, and there are requests received for prayers for healing. GOD is good and will keep us all especially the delta. Many forget that our Lord Jesus in the Gospels warned of judgment and hell more than the apostles in their epistles.
