Very serious indeed as JESUS CHRIST pointed out that insulting or blaspheming the HOLY SPIRIT is unforgivable. We may not see our own spirit but it is an essential part of our existence, just like our physical body. How much more the Spirit of our Creator GOD. We worship the HOLY SPIRIT instead, as He glorifies JESUS CHRIST. Also, there is no condemnation to those who are in JESUS CHRIST as we confess our sins (1 John 1:9). GOD’s grace (Romans 5:20)! Still, this is not a license to blasphem. Blessings to you and your family Jim!
An important truth to add: “ Also, there is no condemnation to those who are in JESUS CHRIST as we confess our sins (1 John 1:9)” I love 1 John 1:9! What a hope we have in God for grace to be forgiven and cleansed!!! Blessings to you!!!
To grasp into the Triune GOD’s (extent of) forgiveness and saving grace, we are awed with gratitude; again, humbly awed with gratitude. Makes us appreciate GOD’s election more.
Amen! Eternally grateful for His forgiveness, salvation and illumination (the doctrine in the previous post!). Such a wonderful thing God has done!!!!!
