Oh, upon checking the email, my mistake actually, I placed both Friday 9:00 PM PHT and Thursday 8:00 AM EST and the time don’t align; my apologies. So, tonight at 9:00 PM PHT/tomorrow at 8:00 AM EST.
This Psalm reassures us that GOD hears our prayers, Perth Girl. Also mentioned is that, GOD the FATHER sets a part/aside people for Himself. In the next few posts, we will find that He gives them to His SON, JESUS CHRIST. Blessings to you and your family!
A Psalm of David, who was constantly hunted by His father-in-law and king. This distress in the period of his life made him shout/sing in prayer but with an assurance of heart that GOD hears the godly people whom He chose. Indeed, Alan, it brings the emoji. What an assurance from GOD as reflected by a God-inspired psalmist. Blessings to you and your family!
GOD ensures that we should know about His sovereign choice. His divine prerogative is known by an inspired psalmist. As a commander of an army, in his human capacity (applying your recent lesson here) he knows GOD chooses, Jim. This and succeeding verses shows GOD elects people that will be godly individuals because of His grace e.g. Jacob. We now proceed with Paul’s letters and then the Gospels where JESUS talks about His sheep. Blessings to you and your family!
This is an assuring Truth, Claire! We cling to this promise of GOD as we lived a sanctified life by faith in our Lord GOD and Savior, JESUS CHRIST. GOD the FATHER unconditionally chooses/elects people before He created the universe. He knows His own and when His own calls to Him, He hears them. We are blessed that He will hear our prayers. GOD bless you and your family!
Amen!

The Psalmist indeed knew, seeing God’s providence in His own life. Looking forward to Paul’s epistles in your direction of your sub series
