Amen! Love this! These verses bring me so much comfort in our new identity in Christ. Love learning about holiness! Love and blessings to you and your family!!
Thank you for your insight, Mandy! These verses give us an assurance that when GOD showed mercy by electing us as His own people, we now have the capacity/heart to proclaim to the world that JESUS is the Lord GOD of our life and the Savior of our souls. Blessings to you and your family!
Thank you, Perth Girl. This verse gives us an assurance in CHRIST JESUS. Indeed, when GOD the FATHER chose us as His people in a holy nation (without political boundaries and constitutes all races and ethnicities), we will be walking by faith in the Triune GOD who strengthens our faith and holiness/sanctification. We may derail at times but our Savior will keep us to eternity. Reading the news on bushfires in Perth, I hope everything is fine in your side/area. Blessings to you and your family! Keep safe!
Thank you for asking. The bush fires are close but not close enough for us to worry about. we are fine and I pray that it will be controlled and put out.
Parang nahulaan mo ang scheduled bersikulo para bukas, Ed! Bukas, ang post tungkol sa “when we endure, we reign with JESUS CHRIST and when we deny Him, He will deny us” na makikita sa 2 Timothy 2. Bakit naman Ed, siempre, kasama ka. Pero and Millennial Kingdom ay sa lupa.

I love 1 Peter 2:9-10. We are elect and that means we are His Chosen people; not because of anything intrinsic worthy in us, but because of His grace! Specifically mercy is mentioned in verse 10
Thank you for your insight, Jim. It is solely GOD’s initiative and mercy that He chose/elect us out of His grace because we can’t choose Him since we all are equally unworthy, sinful, and bad to the bone in what is called total depravity. We are grateful for GOD’s mercy because among all bad in the world, He elects us out of His grace to be a chosen race of people for His own possession. To reiterate my first response, these verses give us an assurance that when GOD showed mercy by electing us as His own people, we will be walking by faith in the Triune GOD… Blessings to you and your family!
I think your statement here is important: “ we can’t choose Him since we all are equally unworthy, sinful, and bad to the bone in what is called total depravity”. If one thinks election isn’t fair we must first consider our sinfulness and our depravity. By our own self we won’t want to choose Him nor seek Him, per Romans 3:10-11. His election is an act of grace!
Amen! We are grateful to the Triune GOD for His mercy, love, and justice to the sinful humans like us! We are grateful because not all are chosen. So when GOD the FATHER sets us aside in a life of holiness, and the cleansing of our sins through JESUS CHRIST our Lord GOD and Savior then we humbly accept this with gratitude. These are all for His glory alone!

This is one of my favourite verses in Scripture. Some much gold to glean from it
We are chosen, we are God’s possession, we are God’s people, we have received mercy, He called us out of darkness, we are to proclaim Him.
Hallelujah!
Thank you my friend Clark.
Rejoice in the Lord always .
Thank you for this insight, Crissy! This is the essence of the set of verses. You said it all! Indeed, this is one of your favorite verses.
May we continue to proclaim JESUS CHRIST as GOD’s own procession.
Blessings to you and your family!
May the Lord always guide you and your team in your upcoming outreach!
How supreme is our blessing in and through Him…He calls us out of darkness into His Light! Nothing in this world can dim or even dampen His Light, it is an eternal torch leading our way home.
Thank you for your insight, Alan! Reflecting on GOD’s call on us that lead us from the darknest (of not knowing Him and His salvation plan for us) and into His light (of living in a sanctified life by faith in the Triune GOD), we can say that it is truly a blessing. Knowing that He keeps us and ensures our salvation is an assurace that we can hold on like an “internal torch leading our way home.” Of course, GOD does all of these for His glory alone! Blessings to you and your family!

Ang bersikuklong iyan ay tumutukoy sa mga magiging hari sa langit kasama ni Kristo. Tiyak na hindi ako kasali dahil ang aking pag-asa ay dito sa lupa

Thank you Clark. We don’t actually visit homes as such, we are out in the street talking to people .
Have a good night my friend,
