Amen! It is worth noting that in this saying, the Triune GOD loves us as He is faithful even when we are not but when we deny JESUS CHRIST as GOD (who is also the second Person of the HOLY TRINITY), our Savior, and Lord, then He will deny us also (Matthew 10:33 and 7:21-23), Mandy. We are grateful that JESUS keeps us from fully denying Him. Blessings to you and your family!
This passage taught me several things:
1. Suffering for other believers, the elect, for the purpose of Christ is noble.
2. This is especially true as an instrument used by God with regards to people’s salvation
3. We need to focus on the Gospel (v.13)
4. We should not deny the Gospel!
Amen! You are right, Crissy! The HOLY SPIRIT does guide us and convicts us when we sin; making us guilty and ultimately, reject sinning. With the HOLY SPIRIT’s power in us, we are kept in CHRIST JESUS. May we stand firm in faith! Blessings to you and your family!
I was just sharing this same scripture with someone last night. For me, this confirms that it was the Lord! A timely word from the word. Thanks Gersom! Wonderful Jesus!
That is indeed GOD’s divine providence and message for you and all of us, Martie! Thank you for sharing both this story and the same Scripture verse with someone. Here, our wonderful Savior keeps us even if we are not faithful at times. That is how great is JESUS and His love and mercy for us! Blessings to you, your family, and your blog ministry!
Love the trustworthy saying!
