Our sinfulness in our nature and humanity is very real; yet we are redeemed by God’s grace at the same time and being sanctified. Thanks for this Kent!
True, Jim! Humanity is doomed to sin and it is in everyone’s nature. We are equally sinful and can’t escape/get out from this downward spiral from our own will. GOD on the otherhand, is Holy and He hates both sins and sinners. Sins and the sinner is vaporized from His Holy presence. No human, in his/her unsaved state can withstand in His Holy presence (like a virus in the presence of a sun). But, in this series on GOD’s Grace, we remembered/knew that GOD is gracious and that will be in the next posts.
You are right, Alan! We are more than conquerors in CHRIST JESUS! We head on and move forward knowing GOD is with us. May we overcome through GOD’s grace! We also will put on the armor of GOD to fight temptations and the evils of this world. Blessings to you and your family!

But for this verse alone, we see that human nature is so sinful, drunk if not addicted to easy sinning, and most of all, incapable of leaving from this sinful life without GOD. Total depravity! Yes Shazzy, truly inspiring and humbling indeed that we are saved by the atoning sacrifice of our Lord GOD and Savior JESUS CHRIST. True, the Triune GOD acted/work on our salvation. GOD the FATHER by His mercy and grace, calls, regenerates, and chose us to be JESUS’ followers. The HOLY SPIRIT convicts us of our sins and guides us to walk by faith in JESUS CHRIST. CHRIST also keeps us and completes our sanctification until we are Heaven-ready. Blessings to you and your family!
