True, it is all about GOD’s immeasurable grace and never about human effort. We just go to heaven as His prize for us if He chooses us. It is the Triune GOD’s sovereign work on our salvation and we who serve Him are just simply vessels for His purpose. All the Good News and thoughts that we share, came from GOD. The good thing about serving Him genuinely longer is we get to know the Triune GOD more while in “the world,” facinate at His salvation work for us, and discern His will, Jim. True, Crissy! GOD does not favor those who serve Him relentlessly over those that have few moments to proclaim/acknowledge Him as their Lord GOD and Savior. I agree with you that even how miniscule/insignificant our “service” when done wholeheartedly, GOD accepts it as you pointed out, His ways and thoughts are far far greater than our wisdom. It is just like JESUS’ story of a woman giving her “insignificant” in value last coin but did it wholeheartedly; GOD accepts it better than the greater value. Sadly, that story is not a parable, it should have been the next one in line. Blessings to you, your family, and your ministry team! Btw, I definitely like your previous comment.
