Mercy over sacrifice is an OT and NT theme. I fall short of this more than I care to admit. As such, I am SO thankful that I am a sinner that Jesus meets and eats with! I know that I sin daily and I am so thankful that when we confess our sins to Him, He will cleanse us from our unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Blessings to you!!!!
Amen! You said it all! We are all grateful that JESUS CHRIST is merciful to all of us who have faith in Him; because no amount of what we sacrifice can give us an inch closer to Heaven. It is all the Triune GOD’s grace and mercy, His prerogative, that we have Salvation. Likewise, blessings to you and your family!
