Invoking the name of the Lord Jesus without faith is foolishness, which explains the terror inflicted on these men. I wonder how many do this now even in our evangelical churches and certainly in liberal syncretic congregations, claiming protection of words and doctrines without belief and trust.
Honestly, I have no idea about the quantity but JESUS CHRIST talks about tares, goats, and those not His own in the Bible. Definitely True Dora, the key here is faith in JESUS CHRIST, i.e. trusting and acknowledging Him as Lord GOD in the person’s life and Savior from his/her sins, evil one, and even demons being exercised. This act of the sons of Sceva is like saying your debt is forgiven without actual money to pay for it; exorcism, without real power to expel. Blessings to you and your family!

Yes, just like fire, many don’t know and are unprepared because they don’t trust the Triune GOD Who is the only power and Who can squashed/destroy evil. GOD used these sons of Sceva for His purpose, which we will find out in the next post. Again, blessings to you and your family!
