Very true Oneta! We cannot see anymore as astounding miracle as the Pentecost, starting with the rushing of the wind. But we know that the HOLY SPIRIT is present in us and directing us in this sanctification process; always pointing to JESUS CHRIST Who is Lord GOD of our lives (as we surrender our hopes, failures, successes, direction, and more in our Master) and Savior from being tormented eternally in hell. Very functional indeed is the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT as it was in that time. Blessings to you and your family!
“Strange fire” isn’t it, Jim? The HOLY SPIRIT has a purpose for that and it resulted in 3,000 believing in JESUS CHRIST and “added to the faith.” Speaking in tongues is all in GOD’s purpose and not human’s. Blessings to you and your family!
